Jeans To A T is a small jeans shop in San Rafael, CA. Tom Dietrich, the owner and sole employee, has been selling jeans six days a week for 45 years. Tom is a jeans artist. Tom has a unique craft in the way he sells his jeans; his memory is a vault of sizes that he can call up after not seeing a customer for years, and he can quickly diagnose a new customer’s fit without measuring them. He has a devoted following of people in the local community and around the world. Jeans To A T is half denim retail and half barbershop in that it’s a local hangout for the community.
